This illustration turned out well, I think. It is used on the cover as well as on the spread inside the journal.

Lots of magazines and newspapers, scissors, glue, scanner and my Mac. Some nice music on the radio. I am making faces this week end!

Sketch for a bookcover

It might be a book cover, but the autors haven´t decided yet. I hope they will go for it, because I am quiet happy with how the figures and selected colors turned out. Waiting is exciting…

Jeg er stolt av deg! av Ben Furman

I want to show you some pictures from the book «Jeg er stolt av deg!» written by Ben Furman. It was a fun job to do, because I was allowed to make both the design and the illustrations! It has simple illustration elements on almost every spread. It is a book about bringing up children, and how to communicate with both children and other adults. Thanks to Cathrine Idsøe that gave me the assignment that I really enjoyed!

Working on collages and textures

I work on collages these days. I am searching for a balance in the amount of noise and texture in the pictures. I really enjoy the colors of the samples shown here!
